Bruce and Dana had been in a committed relationship for over twelve years. She was perfectly happy with the way their relationship worked. The two had been living together for over ten years. He had been after her to marry him for the last five years. Bruce was a professional Dom and Dana a professional Dominatrix. That’s where the problem lay. Dana refused to relinquish even the slightest bit of control to any man. No matter how much he kept at her she would not consent to marriage. It was the classic case of the irresistible force versus the immovable object. They loved it that way. It was a constant battle of wills. They fought and bickered all the time. Anyone who knew them well would have sworn that they were already married. They loved to verbally abuse and humiliate each other in front of their friends. It was one of their favorite pastimes. Each tried to out insult the other. Their friends got hours of entertainment from seeing the two go at it.
One weekend the couple was at a play party at the home of their mutual friend, Will. Will was well known within the local BDSM community for his excellent parties. He was one of the most sought after doms in their city. He had known Bruce and Dana for seven years and loved them dearly. Each of the two would secretly come to him for advice or to just talk, without the other knowing. He was like their personal relationship counselor. Will always wanted to see the two get married. He knew they would be perfect for each other. He had planned on getting them both very drunk at the party and proposing a wager to them. If he could get one of them to agree to it then the other would automatically go along with it just to keep from seeming weak.
Halfway through the night he approached Diana with the bet.
“Diana, you know I love you and Bruce to death. I don’t know why you two don’t just finally go ahead and get married. I know that you’re dead set against it but hear me out. My proposal is that which ever of you can humiliate the other the worst in the next week can have their wish. If you can top Bruce, then he will never ask you to marry him again. But if he can top you then you have to agree to marry him.”
“That’s really not much of a bet is it, Will? Everyone knows that Bruce has never been able to best me when it comes to humiliation.”
“Then you shouldn’t have any problem abiding by the conditions of the wager should you?”
“If you can get him to agree to it then I’m game. It will be great not to have to deal with him asking me to marry him every two weeks.”
Will wandered off to find Bruce. He knew that he would agree to the bet if it meant that he really had a shot at finally getting Dana to marry him.
“Hey Bruce! I’ve figured out how you can finally get Dana to marry you.”
“I’ve got to hear this. I’ve been trying for twelve years and I’ve never been able to get her to cave.”
“Well, I got her to agree to a bet. Which ever of you two can humiliate the other the worst in the next week can take your relationship in the direction they want it to go. If you win she will have to marry you. If she wins then you have to agree to never ask her again.”
“What if she wins? What am I supposed to do then?”
“It’s up to you to make sure that she doesn’t. She’s already agreed to this so it’s up to you now. You aren’t scared are you, Bruce?”
Will knew that by this time Bruce’s alcohol enhanced ego wouldn’t let him back down. He would never hear the end of it from all his friends if he did.
“Ok, Will. You can go tell that worthless sea hag that she’s got herself a bet.”
“That’s the spirit. All you have to do now is make sure that you win.”
Bruce was sitting quietly on the couch trying to think of a winning scheme when Dana walked up and sat down beside him.
“Well, you blithering buffoon, in a week I’ll be free from your constant onslaught to get me to marry you.”
“Wrong! Wrong again. Wrong as usual. Don’t you ever get tired of being wrong? In a week you’ll be saying yes to my proposal.”
“I don’t think so, you pathetic wretch. There’s no way you’ll be able to pull any of your shit on me this week. All I have to do is stay one step ahead of you, little man. That shouldn’t be hard at all.”
“You fucking cumdumpster, you’ll never know what hit you. It will all be over before you even realize it. We’ll be married before the end of the year.”
“Maybe in your rotting little brain, you disgusting cunt maggot. You’re dreaming.”
“We’ll see bitch. Let the games begin. You want another beer?”
“Sure, go get me a beer, you unworthy slave.”
Bruce walked into the kitchen to retrieve the beers. He returned and handed one of them to Dana.
“Oh no you don’t, worm. I know you probably shook the fuck out of this beer hoping that I would get sprayed in front of all these people. It’s not going to happen. Give me the beer you have and you take this one.”
“Now that really hurts. Do you think I would have to resort to such juvenile tactics?”
“Yes I do. I know you like the back of my hand. That’s exactly something your twisted little pea sized brain would come up with.”
Bruce just smiled and switched beers with her.
“Oh well…I yield to your superior intellect. I guess you know me better than I thought you did.”
A torrent of beer spray hit her square in the face as Dana lifted the tab of the beer can.
Bruce rolled around on the floor howling with laughter.
“He shoots! He scores! Gooooooooaaal! Goooooooaaaaaalllll! Yes, it looks like you might know me better than I thought, but obviously you don’t know me as well as YOU thought you did.”
Dana sat there dripping. She was furious with herself for not seeing that one coming. She wanted to go off on him but thought it best to just let it go; the best reaction she thought would be no reaction at all. She wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of getting into a shouting match in front of their friends. She simply got up and walked to the bathroom to dry off.
Will had been watching the entire episode unfold. Tears were streaming down his face and he was still trying to catch his breath from laughing so hard.
“I don’t know whether I’ve done such a good thing or not, Bruce. At this rate you will probably both be dead by the end of the week. You’re going to really have to watch my back after that one. She’s going to be out for bloo…
